- -Must have participated in Legion and Auxiliary youth programs
-Must be planning to attend a college or university in any state to work on a baccalaureate degree
-Selection is based on moral character; scholastic excellence (GPA of 3.0 or higher); participation and accomplishment in American Legion affiliated activities; and personality, leadership, and participation in general extracurricular activities
Requirements & Eligibility
-Seniors and graduates from accredited Wisconsin high schools
-Child whose father, mother, or legal guardian is a member of the Department of Wisconsin of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion
-Grandchild whose grandfather, grandmother, or legal guardian is a member of the Department of Wisconsin of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion
-Member of the Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Junior American Legion Auxiliary
-Veteran and an American Legion member in Wisconsin
